The rugged Amazfit Active Edge smartwatch has been officially launched, featuring built-in GPS

 

 Following the success of the Amazfit Active, the smartphone giant introduces the Amazfit Active Edge in India. With its robust design capable of enduring shocks, drops, and water depths of up to 100 meters (10ATM water resistance), along with an AI workout assistant, this smartwatch is well-equipped for various activities. Priced at INR 12,999, the Active Edge is available both offline, starting February 27, and online exclusively through the Amazfit Store and Amazon India. Regarding specifications, the Amazfit Active Edge measures 46.62 x 46.62 x 12mm and weighs 34g without the strap. It features a 1.32” TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels, equipped with an anti-fingerprint coating on tempered glass. The device boasts a 370mAh battery offering up to 16 days of typical use, extendable to 24 days with battery-saving mode or 10 days with heavy usage. Health-centric features include continuous heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring, sleep tracking, steps and activity tracking, and SpO2 monitoring. The smartwatch supports multiple GPS systems (QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo, and GPS) along with a 3-axis motion sensor, accelerometer, and 3 PPG biometric sensors.



Connectivity-wise, it supports Bluetooth v5.0 and is compatible with iOS 14.0 and above and Android v7.0 and above. Running on Zepp OS 2.0, it offers features like offline maps, various sports modes, sleep schedules, and morning updates. Additional functionalities include sedentary reminders, camera and music control, Zepp Coach, race achievement predictions, smart trajectory corrections, and a selection of over 100 watch faces. source
